POLYESTER (PET), POLYPROPYLENE (OPP), NYLON  

POLYESTER (PET): 

• An outstanding film for most any application.  

• Features excellent scuff and scratch resistance, durability and good folding characteristics. 
• Industry's most popular film. Good thermal stability
• Has high tensile, tear and impact strength, and retains these outstanding properties and remains tough and flexible once applied.
• Contains no plasticizers, so it does not become brittle with age under normal conditions.

POLYPROPYLENE (OPP):

• The clearest and brightest of all films. 

• Good optical properties "wet look" 

• Good chemical resistance 

• Folds extremely well 

• Softer than PET

NYLON: 

• Very popular for book covers and dust jackets 

• When exposed to heat, won't stretch or expand. 

• Good scratch and abrasion resistance 

• Good optical properties

Note: All thickness (for standard sizes) are available in a Gloss or Matte (dull) finish

1.5 mil is our most cost-effective film that has excellent clarity; but offers little rigidity to the product.  1.5 mil has a good adhesion to a wide variety of substrates.  It is perfect for preserving catalog pages, bulletins, charts & graphs, spec sheets, and numerous other items.  It is also the thickness used for our one-side only applications.  

    Our 3-mil laminate is a clear film that is primarily used in two-sided laminating applications.  It is perfect for jobs where sealed edges, higher gloss, or extra thickness and durability are preferred.  It is perfect for preserving legal documents, price lists, newspaper articles, business agreements, ad reprints, flip charts, maps, and numerous other items.             Offers excellent protection and allows for items to be folded.

    Our 5-mil laminate is a premium grade, extremely clear and glossy film that offers both increased durability and rigidity.  The 5 mil should be used when you need a higher quality film with more rigidity.  It is perfect for preserving artwork, photographs, licenses, posters, place mats, I.D. Cards, certificates, maps, and numerous other items.  This is the most popular thickness of all the laminates.

    The 10 mil is the most rigid laminating film that we offer.  It is primarily used for mounted items, framing and display work.  It is perfect for counter displays, game boards, and placemats -- anything that requires added rigidity.
